Masha Gessen

Masha Gessen is a Russian-American journalist. They are a contributing opinion writer to the New York Times and a frequent contributor to New York Review of Books, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, The Washington Post, and other publications. They are the author of seven books, including "The Brothers: The Road to an American Tragedy" (Riverhead, 2015) and the national bestseller "The Man Without a Face: The Unlikely Rise of Vladimir Putin" (Riverhead, 2012). They are a 2015 Andrew Carnegie Fellow.
