Joseph Schottenfeld

Joe Schottenfeld is a writer and an Associate Research Scholar at Yale Law School. He was previously a National Geographic Society Young Explorer and a visiting fellow at the University of Central Asia, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan where he conducted field research on labor migration. His writings on migration have been published by Foreign Affairs, and he has reported on energy issues for National Geographic (online) and the Huffington Post. He speaks Tajik and Farsi.
