Daniel Alarcón

Daniel Alarcón, executive producer of Radio Ambulante, is author of a graphic novel, two story collections, and "Lost City Radio," named a Best Novel of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle and the Washington Post, among others, and winner of the 2009 International Literature Prize. He is associate editor of Etiqueta Negra, an award-winning quarterly published in his native Lima, Peru; contributing Editor to Granta; and was recently named one of The New Yorker's 20 under Forty. Daniel lives in Oakland, California, where he is a visiting scholar at the UC Berkeley Center for Latin American Studies.
