Catherine Schurz
2013 REPORTING FELLOW AND GRANTEE
Catherine Schurz is a senior at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, majoring in criminal justice and political science. Her passion for journalism developed while serving as the world and nation section editor for her college paper, The Guilfordian. After observing global news for years and having recently traveled to 15 European countries, Catherine is interested in investigative reporting on the international level. Catherine is from the Philadelphia area and plans to attend law school to aid in achieving a career in law and politics.
