Aly Brahe

2013 W&M REPORTING FELLOW

Aly Brahe, class of 2014, is a Biology major and Hispanics Studies minor at the College of William & Mary. She studied abroad in Spain with the William & Mary Cádiz program in summer 2011. Upon her arrival in Madrid, Aly witnessed the beginnings of the 15M movement, also known as the "Spanish Revolution." The protests in Puerta del Sol sparked her interest in Spanish politics and social movements, which have brought her back to Spain on several occasions. At the College, Aly has been involved with research in developmental biology, as well as epidemiology. In addition to tutoring for the TribeTutorZone, she also volunteers at Angels of Mercy Medical Clinic. Following graduation, Aly will attend medical school.
