Pulitzer Center Staff Participate in AAJA 2018 Convention Panels

Pulitzer Center Executive Editor Indira Lakshmanan and Marketing Coordinator Jin Ding will speak at the Asian American Journalism Association(AAJA)'s annual convention in Houston, TX on Friday, August 10. 

Lakshmanan will be moderating a panel entitled "North and South Korea: From the Olympics to Families Divided" at 4 pm. Journalist Chang Lee and Laura Elizabeth Pohl will present their projects from the Koreas. 

Ding will participate in one of the ProTips panels at 10:30 am along with Jody Schmal, travel and food editor at the Houston Chronicle, and Swati Sharma, deputy editor at the Atlantic. This panel will be focusing on providing opportunities for freelancers. 

The Pulitzer Center is also supporting AAJA Photo Affiliate Group's Photo Hangouts and Portfolio Review at the convention. See more details here.
