Event date:

Please join Pulitzer Center grantee Habiba Nosheen as she shares her experience reporting on rape cases and the tradition of honor killings in Pakistan. In parts of the country, women who are raped are seen as "tainted" and ordered to be killed by their families or tribes to restore "honor." Nosheen's documentary reveals what it takes for women to fight for justice in Pakistan's court system. Her investigative reports as a Pakistani-Canadian filmmaker and journalist expose grave issues confronted by women around the world.
