Please join us for an open documentary film screening and discussion at Westchester Community College. The screening will have a Caribbean focus and there will be two films shown. "The Abominable Crime," directed by Micah Fink, is an award-winning feature documentary exploring homophobia in Jamaica. Steve Sapienza's short film "Dominican Republic: Life on the Margins" examines statelessness, looking specifically at the Dominican Republic and individuals of Haitian descent. We will open the floor for Q&A after the screening. The screening is part of the Pulitzer Center's multi-day fall 2013 visit to Westchester Community College through our Campus Consortium partnership.
