Leslie Roberts, deputy news editor at Science, traveled to Myanmar, Cambodia, and Thailand to report on emergency efforts to eliminate malaria in the Mekong. She found a multi-drug resistant malaria epidemic in parts of Cambodia, raising for the prospect of untreatable malaria. Will multi-drug resistant malaria spread across the Mekong?
