The Pulitzer Center partners with the School of Communication Studies and the Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education to bring journalists to campus – whether in person or via skype connections.

The School of Communication Studies offers bachelor's and master's degrees and participates in a college-wide doctoral degree program with majors in global, health, organizational, public, interpersonal and applied communication. The school is nationally recognized for its scholarship and our students have received national recognition for their academic and professional accomplishments. The school has been recognized as Ohio's distinguished program in communication by the Ohio Communication Association of Ohio.

The Gerald H. Read Center for International and Intercultural Education serves as an international and intercultural resource for students and faculty of the College and Graduate School of Education, Health and Human Services and to the greater Kent and world community. The Read Center’s mission is to promote actively international and intercultural activities that will broaden intellectual perspectives, and, thereby, foster deeper ethical and humanitarian values while establishing person-to-person relationships that span international borders. Through the Read Center, the Pulitzer Center has connected with educators K-12 across the state of Ohio.
