"It's nice to know that this is a commonality that we all have," said Kateri Donahoe, a student fellow from Boston University. "That we had these life changing experiences."
The 2015 Pulitzer Center student fellows were brought together on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17 to present their projects and meet not only one another, but experienced journalists in the field.
From the two-days filled with panels and presentations, a dinner at the Cosmos Club with an inspiring talk given by Pulitzer Center's senior adviser Marvin Kalb, and a farewell evening at Roofer's Union, the 2015 student fellows move forward taking with them not just the experiences gained from their in-the-field reporting, but now as a team—a supportive network for their future projects and endeavors around the world.
