Peter and Jion are two young men who are friends today but were former child soldiers who fought on opposing forces during the civil war. They are surviving on the streets of Monrovia, largely though the donations of "golden hearted" people. Jion, who cannot really remember his age, has a wife and two kids. He lost his left leg during the conflict, while Peter lost his right arm.
