Request for proposals: Sudan in transition (CLOSED: 05/20/10)

The Pulitzer Center is seeking proposals for reporting projects that explore under-reported issues in Sudan as that country heads toward a scheduled referendum next January on independence for southern Sudan. The Center has already initiated work in this area with PBS NewsHour but we are seeking additional proposals, especially from print reporters experienced in the region.
